Grip slot does not appear modified... Unless it was widened? I cannot tell, but it sure wasn't lengthened. If someone where to b*tch about it and have it inspected, it could be deemed a "easily convertible back to a MG"?
Did not mention anything about a bolt blocking stud, but that's probably there. If you're interested, the price seems about right i guess. It is however a FFL item, and will require proper transfer.

TO me it looks a little beat up with grind marks and doesnt look uniform,Another thing i noticed is the welds arent flat and would either need to be ground and filled . Hope this isnt a boards member as im not bashing them. But if you dont mind doing a little zap with the welder here and there then your set.

That's a reasonable price? I have a German rear that's a little shorter that I plan to sell, but I was thinking $300. I recognise that user name, but I can't recall if it's here or at the 1919 forum.

:eureka: Hmm, i recognize that username too, i can't remember if its from 1919a4 or here though... Either way, looks to be the "average" pricing, not a rip off at all, small indents in the welds are nothing, easily fixed if it really matters that much. Personally i have the same thing, but my excuse is its my first time welding really  . I'll know not to make my same mistakes the 2nd time around 8) .

Grip slot must have been widened for ar15 fcg then, only logical reason. Because being a board member of either here or 1919a4, they should know the consequences of not modifying it. Grinds could use some "touching up" with some fine grade sandpaper or belt or something.

If you base the price on perhaps the old Wiselight rear halves, or brp rear halves (completed with semi mods), then yep. If you add in the fact that it is WaA twice, and is made from a $200+ ima rear (the more expensive ones than just the $100 serial# only). The cost, if he had perhaps had the welds done, he would be breaking about even. The average welder would quote about $200 or so for that type of weld job, no? So i guess, maybe there is like $100 in "profits", but that would be why it was not advertised on the sale thread for fellow members to get a "deal" on. This person may just need the cash, who knows...? If you counter in the current anti-gun-endoftheworld propaganda, then that makes this price reasonable  .

Give or take $350 - $400 or so would probably be the ideal value, but with current politics, you can milk just about anyone in this day and age. Just feed them some "obama propaganda", and out comes the wallet ;).

Thanks for the comments. I was a little concerned about the lack of required Semi mods.
