:D Hello everyone! I've been thinking of a MG42 for years, even bought one of those plastic dress-up kits for the 10/22 several years ago. Now it looks like I'm going to explore the possibility of actually building one myself. It will take me a while to gather up the funds, but I'll work on it. TomR is sending me some parts to examine and I'll try to build a bucking bar wedge system that will work for the MG42. Hopefully, I can make a set that will do the 1919, M2HB and MG42. At this point I'm definitely an FNG at the MG42. :?: But, here I am  ....willing to learn. TANKER

Hey Tanker glad to see ya here. It's starting to look like we may have a few mg42 converts from 1919a4. I just wonder how many people will keep their 1919 screennames? I changed mine from woody72 to this. Glad your here along with a few others. :D

I just came over from 1919 also.
I go by 1919_4_ME but since I'm over here now you can see why I changed my screen name to what it is,lol.
I've always loved the German MG's for their quality and durability plus they look so "evil" when mounted on a MG ground mount.Hope to find good info and pics on how to build a 42 kit the right way. :P

Hey Tanker- good to see ya over here. Just got registered.

Looks like 1919_4... er... MG34_4_ME beat me to it. You better be gettin' you an MG42 kit soon, pal. Or I am going to tease you mercilessly about calling yourself MG34 on an MG42 site, just because you have one of them early models!

New from 1919a4 as well
