Receiver advice on build type
Can anyone give me the plus or minus to the Cold Steel Solutions receiver or the BRP receiver. Seems like the BRP would be easier to install rails and internals. And the openings, then weld. Just not sure which one to use. Price is about the same.

Re: Receiver advice on build type
Someone just gave up on a build using the cold steel receiver.
I would go with the one that brp sells myself
Or go with the complete m-53 cut one that AA sells. This is the one that I would do if I did not own several 3 or 4 cut German receivers.

That was me, except it was a global machine and tool receiver set, not the cold steel solutions. I have no issue at all with the global machine and tool receiver, but I don't have any info on cold steel receivers. The guys at global machine and tool were extremely helpful.

The global is another one with some good replies on it.
