Does anyone know what an early Bundeswehr (West German Army) complete dual mount with cover and tool kit is worth? It also includes the large stabilizer legs that are normally missing. Thanks Harry

Used to be you could buy one in Germany for $240. Shipping to the US was more than that. They now sell so rarely that there is no way to estimate the going price. It is whatever someone will pay at that moment.

The last one I saw sold was about a year ago and had been advertised for some time at $1200. It ended up being sold for $750 and did have the support legs but no cover. I remember these being offered for $400 or so from Interordnance and not selling. They are very heavy and hard to move. They also require fiddling with the guns in many cases as the mount is free swivel and it can affect the operation between the guns. If you're fiddling with semi autos I have no idea what effect it will have. I had 2 post samples that would run in one of those mounts in 8mm but not in 308. We found an issue with a friends MG74 after finding it wouldn't run in the twin mount with one of my guns. He had a broken buffer spring. The gun ran fine as a single off the bipod but wouldn't run with the twin setup.
One deterrent to prices on these mounts is ammo cost. One MG42 uses enough ammo by itself and two burn through your supply that much faster. Shipping is pretty unreasonable too......

Good luck
