How to remove the pin from rear site?

with a 4mm threaded bolt, screw it into the pin and simply pull it straight out, after the retainer cross pin is driven out, it runs front to back

Re: How to remove the pin from rear sight?
Could be I'm thinking of a different pin. If you are trying to remove the rear sight from the channel that it sits in then try this. Open or raise the rear sight up as high as it will go. Let down slightly and the pin will drop out. The rear sight will now be free. Just watch out closing the rear sight as it will snap shut on fingers or whatever. If closed you will need to open it again to be able to install everything back together.

Rocker, had it! I opened it up as you mentioned & it slipped out. I figured I must be missing something the 1st time I tried so I fooled with it a little more & got it.
