Does anyone know why there is a pj stamp on bpr marked receivers ? mine is marked pj by the front sight and rear sight!
my rear sight is serial numbered to my gun and I have the bipod retaining stud to fold the bipod underneath. My gun is a
cra nc 1944 production run.

pj probably provided the stamped sheet metal blank. I've seen it on some other parts (barrel door)? Do you have a picture of the bipod retaining stud on an MG42? I don't know if I've ever seen one....Phil

i was advised that the pj marking with line undernath was a subcontractor (not to be confused with the date code pj for 1944 as found on bnz receivers)
