Finally received my FA MG42

Only took 7 months for the paperwork to come back after clearing my check but at least it is in my hands. Stripped it down again and checked it out. Grabbed a couple cans of ammo and heade for the range. Sorry guys who live on either coast but I live in Reno NV and the range for me is running up the hill. Bottom line is the weapon ran great!! Shot it from both the laffette mount and bipod.

That's Great. Glad to hear you received it after a 7 month waiting period. Also glad to hear about a good range report. Keep feeding it the good ammo so we don't hear any bad stuff.

Any leads on good ammo? I have some Romanian and Pakistani ammo in tins but am always looking for more ammo.
