Wiselite....It Don't Fit!

I bought one of the as new M3 mounts to convert it to my MG34 but in the mean time I thought I would mount and shoot my Wiselite on it. Would you believe the rear capture assembly on the Wiselite is too wide to fit in the mount. Have other owners had the same issues? If so how did you modify the capture assembly to fit?

Check my past posts on this. I had to file the rear hooks on the mount and the mounting pad on the gun. The hooks were filed to allow the gun to seat further to the rear as the trigger actuator was right on top of the trigger at rest.

Since you want to use he mount on your MG34 as well you may not want to modify it exclusively to fit your Wiselite.

I do, that is why I haven't done a thing until I get my 34 built and see how it sets on the mount

Looking to see how this comes out with the mg34 and the new m3 mount. I thought that the trigger area was very different. To different to work. That said I hope that you can get to work for you. Yes others have had problems with putting a wiselite on the m3 newer tripod.

I never got around to it. I sold the wiselite and the buyer saw the mount and made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
