Wiselite to MG3 Tripod Fitting
Wiselite to MG3 Tripod Fitting
So should I remove metal from the mounting surface of the gun, the latch on the tripod, or remove metal from the tripod hooks so the gun will sit deeper (or all three)? I did note that the trigger bar is actuating the trigger when the gun springs forward after letting go of the charging handle. I'm not sure this would resolve by just grinding the front mounting surface since it seems there needs to be more space between the trigger and trigger bar. Any tips are appreciated.
Also are most of the folks with the Wiselite/MG3 tripod combo shooting these with the buttstock removed so that it isn't smashing into the crosspiece under recoil?

If you are going to live fire remove the 2 pins and take out the red plate from the sping assembly. Consensus is remove the stock, though i leave mine on but rotated 90 degrees to avoid hitting it. Its weird how some fit perfectly (mine did) and some need fitting.

make the gun fit the tripod.
if possible take the extra off the front of the front lug.

As someone here told me, the tripod is original, the gun is not, so don't modify the original. That's what I did with my M53 and my original Yugo tripod (not the MG3 one).drooling idiot wrote:make the gun fit the tripod.
