it looks like it has all of the gages, have any of you bought one? Is it worth getting. I was thinking about it, since I have a few of the weapons, an MG42 in MG3 set up, an Uzi with all German MP2 Parts except the GI Receiver, and a PTR91 GI Model, and a BW issue P1

Are the MG3 Go No gages the same as any other 7.62 NATO Gage?

Roger that, it came today, wow, I paid for it yesterday! I will post photos soon.

It is a neat set unfortunately, no manual came with it, I need to find that next so I know how to use all the tools.

This past spring I bought the same set at Knob Creek.
I am missing some items.
The wood case has been setting on the floor in my office since I got back.
It is a very good deal for what it is, I am uncertain what to do with most of it!

Here are photos of the kit. It does have a 7.62 and 9mm no go Gage. It also has a bunch of dummy rounds. They are tarnished, maybe I should put them into the tumbler.

I can see that I am missing the small screw driver, hard to tell what else

Picture 3 is a combination tool for ruptured case extraction and extractor changing.

I think the tool above it in picture 5 with the handle and L shaped is used to compress the spring for assembling the rear sight.

L shaped tool in picture 1 is a bore/chamber mirror.

Picture 6 - front sight adjustment tool?

The assortment of metal cylinders is for gauging barrel wear.

I think the cylindrical tool with the grease fitting is for pumping grease into a barrel bore under pressure to push out an obstruction.

I tried my different barrel bolt combination with both the German BW 7.62 gauge that came with the kit and the Forster two gauge set. The Foster gauges are labeled "7.62 NATO", one is marked
"1.6455 MAX", the other is marked "1.6355 MIN".

The BW gauge from the kit is marked

It is hard to read the BW guage,

I got bolt lockup on the BW 7.62 gauge on barrel bolt combinations that would not lock up with the MAX Forster, 7.62 gauge. In other words, the German BW 7.62 is showing certain bolt barrel combinations as bad headspace, where the Forster gauge showed these barrel bolt combinations as good?

All combinations lock up with the Forester MIN gage and the. BW dummy rounds.

Not sure what the difference is? I will only use barrel bolt combinations that are good with both th German BW and Forsters gauges.
