7.92X57 to 7.62.51 Conversion questions?

I am going to be blank adapting a M53 from 8MM to .308. I know I need a .308 feed tray and top cover. What parts from the 8MM top cover can I use in the .308 top cover and what parts will I need to purchase to make this work. I am leaning toward the two piece .308 blank barrel sold by Atlantic Wall Blanks. Any help or input would be thankful and helpful.

The conversion is very simple.........and you may only have to use a 2-pcs. Blank-Barrel-Assembly and try different "restrictors" (dependent on the Blanks that you will be using and the outside temp.) to make an M53 fire 7.62x51mm/.308 Blanks reliably.

Have you looked into the "Blank-Adapting-Section" at the bottom of the MG42-Section (?)........lots of information in there.
