It appears I can post on here now thank God. There is an individual who goes by the name of ironworker, he built his M53 receiver out of 2.5 by 1.5 tubing. I have looked high and low for his thread tutorial and keep coming up empty handed. I was fortunate enough to have copied some of his tutorial, but not enough to accurately do the build. I'm assuming his build thread has been deleted. Do any of you have information on his build?
Best regards,

I'll try over there. I did find information he posted here, but he didn't post a tutorial. He is the link for the DIY receiver he made. If I can't find the tutorial, I'll shoot him a PM.
The gentlemen by the name of Ironworker spent a total of $7.00 on his made from scratch receiver. I'm building one as well, I'm using the tubing from a scrapped duct jack. So far I have nothing in it other than time. He also has access to a mill, I've been using files, which is a lot of tedious work.
