John McCain
Should i hold my nose and vote for him?
Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come;
'Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far
and Grace will lead me home.

Re: John McCain
I think his history of voting (on gun rights) is pretty depressing. But the key is to look at the (criminal/unconsitutional) ideas of Slickhilly and Barry Obama and you see where the choice lies. Plus, if, when, McCain wins it will be my most active years with my own representative and Senators. For sure. AND, my senators are Kennedy and Kerry so I have a long uphill battle. But, I will now take my RKBA very, very seriously and no longer be so quiet. Even now, I am following several state level (i.e. AZ) efforts to approve CCW in state parks, and on college campuses. So, maybe their "wins" will help even a doomed state like MASS.
So, if the anti-gunners take the presidency, then I will be asking all my gun friends to stop being silent and step up. It is time for every 2nd amendment supporter to stand up and voice their opinions to their Congressman and Senators. (pissing in the ocean? maybe? but I will sleep (a little) better knowing that they heard one voter's opinion.)
(Oh, and also I will be stocking up on ammo too, even at the high prices.)
From my favorite movie "The people should not be afraid of their government, the government should be afraid of the people."
