inter ord 8mm yugo kits

Post by TOM R »

got 4 kits from io 2 nice complete, 1 has a trashed wood stock names carved in it etc.,and missin the recoup front bolt and a smashed grip panel, the last 1 was broken open during shipment (fedex) and is almost all missing, I called io they are sendin me the recoup bolts (front ones) that are missing , they will try to find grip pannels (claim they have no extras) and will not replace the trash stock also claim they got nothing to replace it with, they are sendin a shipping label to take back the broke open box and replace with another kit. :?

so 2 kits look nice 2 are beat, all are well used, finish wear etc. these are gettin to bottom of the barrel big time, and when i ordered them last week ? I was told they might not even have the 8mm parts to fill the order so if you want 8mm get em now otherwise got to dan for the 308 kits since he has a few instock now

so far this sounds like it will be painless but time will tell :?

oh yeah I forun at least 1 ww2 grip bpr and other micelanious german stuff in the kits and didn't realize the ww2 grips and pw grips are different due to a different safty button

Something to make you sick to your stomach !!!

Post by oldiron »

I am out of town on business and got a call from a relative who was watching my home in Wisconsin. Well
"" Freddy"" the Fex Ex man comes strolling up the driveway about 4 pm in the afternoon on a Friday and tells my father in law he has a package for me. Well guess what?? He also says it looks like the package broke open in shipping-- Sure enough what is left is rattling about in the box like broken glass, and the rest?? Who knows???
Parts in the driveway in and under the snow-- And I will not be home till next monday-- So whatever is in the snow stays there until it melts !! Sort of like 1943 in Russia !!! Actually Called interordnance and Fed Ex already and they say they will handle it We will see !! nothing like hearin long distance -- your package is here---but all kinds of stuff was falling out when he was dragging it up the driveway!!!

308 IO Yugo kits

Post by mgfun »

I received 2 of their kits, and except for some missing small parts, they were quite nice and very similar to the 8mm pictured above.

I received my kit Christmas Eve. The box was cut in half. The stock is (Try a different word.). All the small parts made it but the barrel didn't. Cut receiver is very doable. Blue is all but gone. The kit was 8mm except the missing barrel which they said they would send. I was told at that time my was the bottom of the barrel. Hate to see what you got.
