Allegheny Arsenal customer service
I just purchased 2 kits from allegheny. the first is a DP28. The kit arrived promptly and
well packed and all the parts were in excellent condition as described. After unpacking
it I noticed that the front receiver section was missing. I called and spoke to Mark and
he said he would look into it and call me back. With in an hour he called me and told me
that he tried to pull the part from another bbl shroud and it would not come off. He said
to return my shroud and he would replace it with one with the rec section.
I then asked about thier mg34 kits and was told that they were in very good condition.
I ordered one and it arrived today along with the replacement dp28 parts. The kit was
well packed with a check list to ensure all the parts were there. The parts look like new,
I was really surprised at the condition. the internals show virtually no wear, and except for
a couple of shiny spots the blue is like new.
I also discovered last night that the mag catch was missing form my DP28 kit, so I emailed
Mark to see if I could get one. a few hours later I got a return email saying it was on the way.
These guys get a double thumps up for:
1. good quality kits.
2. prompt shipping.
3. properly packing your order.
4. Customer service.

Allegheny had some trouble with receivers not being cut up well enough one time.... after that, they made sure ATF didn't give them trouble again. Can't blame a guy for being careful. We all regret seeing a destroyed, rather than just a demilled receiver, but my primary goal in business would be to keep my butt out of jail too. I don't blame him for prefering life on the outside of the bars.

AA is Okay
I have done biz with AA for a couple of years. He comes to the OGCA and OVMS as well as Max shows. I have bought a Maxim kit and a few PPS43 kits from him. Lots of mags and pouches for PPS43 and PPsH41 as well. All unissued or damn near. He always let me cherry pick, and one time I went through five PPs43 kts to assemble a perfect parts kit. I forgot to include a barrel! Daaaaa! Called him two days after the show and told his girl what I did, and three days later got in the mail a minty barrel with no questions and no shipping charges. Class act, all the way. Can't say the same for Sarco, or IO. But the girls at IO sure sound pretty.

AA is really one of the best in customer service. I bought 2 Maxim kits over on Weaponeer and it all came in last week. Poor FedEx guy. Anyway one of the Sokolov mounts had a bent axle. I called Mark on Friday and he told me what I needed to do, then he called back on Saturday and told me to hold on until the "boss" got back. Nicki called me today and they are sending out another mount and contacting FedEx to pick up the damaged one for return. GREAT SERVICE, they really do "step up to the plate". Greg and I are both from the "old school" going back to the good old days of the late 70's when we would trade back and forth @ OGCA. Take care of your customers and they'll keep coming back! Thanks Mark, Nicki and Greg for your commitment to the customer.
AA
I have made several purchases from AA, with some being large dollar items, and everything has always been 100%. If I asked to pick out a nice item, they did with no extra "hand pick" fee. What I received was always as described or better. Packaging was always great and never a damaged piece. AA has been a great vendor for me.
AA customer service
I have to agree. I ordered 2 yugo mg42 slings from him and for $20.00 each I couldn't be more pleased.
Allegheny Arsenal customer service
Although I was somewhat disappointed with the quality of their MG-42 demill kit (which was actually an M53 demill the first time), they did go out of their way to help me out, especially Nikki -- even if it did take a few tries.
They need to find another packing material though... the stuff they use is just plain messy when it sticks to anything with cosmoline on it.
IMA on the other hand uses nothing but bubble-wrap and it is packed incredibly well! I love ordering from those guys!

I've also ordered a bunch of stuff from AA and the customer service has always been first class -
Big HATS OFF to Nikki, Greg, and Mark for the GREAT service.
I'll have to agree that the "peanuts" are a true PITA -
Putting parts in a plastic bag sure helps but those darn "peanuts" go EVERYEHERE when you open a box.
It's as if they have a mind of their own...
