Here is a drawing showing the major dimensions needed for re-welds.
All NFA rules apply.
You can see the full size drawing here:

Yes,thanks,Orin.I tried to do this once and made a mess of it.
It will be handy when I try to figure out if I have enough material for a receiver. ---bil

There has been several good posts on this website about making one. However that said take a good look at the following website
http://www.tnwfirearms.com/photos.shtml
Note the equipment that they use to make the receivers. There has been talk about edm equipment and other things being used. I wish you a lot of luck.
Lots of folks buy several mg34 cut receivers and re-weld them...

for prints, try Maschinengewehr34.com Glenn Fahrquhar He sold some sets here,
i have one somewhere, but as mentioned above, the expensive machinery used would keep most from going the avenue. ---bil

The set of prints that Fahrquhar put out are nice ones. Think long and hard before you think of starting to make a mg34 receiver from scratch. That said it's been done by several countries and at least one company.

Interesting. As far as i can read blueprints this info is NOT in the J&G/ Farquist prints.
Would it not be in the TNW semi package?
