Re: carry handle
Another "genuine" ww2 carry handle for the mg34 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %26ps%3D54 . LOL no clear stamps but loos like there is a very faint one.
The only thing that helps me maintain my slender grip on reality is the friendship I share with my collection of singing potatoes.
Re: carry handle
Would it be possible that the carrying handle made for MG13s also fits the MG34.... which would account for the anomalies mentioned above??? (i.e. not in the manual, but the odd photo exists of MG34s being carried like this?)
I know the barrel fitting for the bipod is the same, so if the attachment for the tripod/handle further back is the same.... oh hang on it is, as Mg34s can be put on MG13 AA tripods can't they??
So... everybody could be right... except the handles pictured are the postwar Israeli ones!

Re: carry handle
I have a mg-13s and a mg-34. The caring handles look the same but are mounted in a different spot. They are definitely not interchangeable. I have bought 3 carrying handles from IMA for the mg-34. I found Israeli marking on the inside of the wooden handles. I will take some pics for you in a few days.
Spell check is down and I'm too lazy to get the dictionary
