Tripod sale

Post by MGMike »

Guys:

Inter-Ord has a sale on AA Tripods and M-3 "lafetts" until Tuesday (11/27) at midnight. I've got one of each, and they both fit the MG42/M53. The prices are good. The flyer is at:

Another IO fiasco! I ordered two of the ground tripods and didn't get the optics or battery box. They are well used but would have still been a deal if they had come complete as advertised. Anyone else recieved one yet?

I received my ground tripod with optics but no illuminator/battery box. I called them and they have sent the missing items. Should have them here in a day or two.

By the way, the infantry stand I got from I.O. INTERNATIONAL is post ww2, will the mg42 fit to it? I hope so. Although I will probably wind up with a mg53.

They are esentially the same gun,and if the 42 fits,so will the 53. And welcome aboard! ---bil

I received my I.O. MG3 mount and it came in perfect condition with optics and battery box. I would say the optics are brand new by the looks of them. Surely the optics originally cost many times more that the whole set-up cost from I.O. I have to thank Pirate for putting me onto one of these.

I picked up the same mount, near new condition, from a fellow in Germany a few months back. Complete with optics and battery box. Paid more for shipping than his price for the mount, but it still came out to just under $290 to my door. Premo deals are out there, though they're not falling from the sky like they used to.
