Hello all,
I purchased a Gurtfuller 41 and have a couple questions. Did either Gurtfuller have a dedicated carrying can other than a regular ammo can ? If so, what was it ? If a regular can was used, were they externally marked like the P & E cans ? Finally, how does one remove the hopper from the base of a Gurtfuller 41 ? Thanks for reading & hopefully answering my questions !

The belt filler cans had raised areas inside on the bottom so that the filler could be well oiled and have the excess drain into the shallow channels in the bottom of the can, while the raised areas held the filler out of the mess. I've seen them with a "G" stenciled on, just like the P and E cans have.
