WANTED -- MGZ40

Post by CRUSADER »

Hey Gang! It's been some time since I last checked in. Things have changed a bit around here.

I'm looking for a working MGZ40 for my Lafette.
Good, clear glass. Adjustments that work. Leveling vials intact. Storage can. You get the picture.

Please post here or message me if you think you've got something that you'd be willing to part with.

Crusader,
Wow.....you have been looking for an MGZ40 for a few years now.......no luck (?)......or adding to a collection of MGZ40s (?).

There is usually one or more MGZ40s for auction up on E-Bay (USA) (one just got "re-listed" due to no offers..........and a few sets for sale over in England with the "Militaria-For-Sale". GunBroker doesn't usually have much in this are as far as optics for MG42s.

I have several.....and as I go through the "downsizing" (at my age) things in my garage/storage I will list them here so check back often.

Hello BG!

Yes, I have indeed been searching for a nice MGZ40 for years. No luck so far.
Nope, I'm not building or expanding a collection. I'm just trying to find one nice example.
Thanks for the ebay tip. I'll have a look....
...and I'll try checking in here more often ;)
