THat is a good price on the pod. Did you ask if there's any marks?
One guy here awhile ago said he bought one, and it had nothing on it, but
was very old in appearance, and condition--yugo's reissue ? Let us know.

well I think it was mark i spoke with, he said these are german pods with the waffens removed and the search plate is in yugo , they include with it a new repro ww2 german plate, when I get it and time i will strip it like abwehr did (his looks sweet) there is no hand select,he said they look through em and give the best one they find , so i guess this means early orders = best condition still alot cheaper then my nos 1917a1 tripod @ 1100

hope the double barrel carrier is nice too they were out of stock for a while :D

Tom,

I have gotten a couple of the single Barrel Carriers, ammo cans, and much other stuff from AA and so far I have been WELL pleased with what I have received. When I called to order I ask them for the best they have at the time and what was received was great. I know AA has gotten some "bad press" on their kits, but I always figured they got them already de-milled and they had no real choice?????

I have seen one of AAs Lafettes, and there were no German marking at all, but the tripod was in fantastic condition! I think they have a package deal for around $900 where the slings, spare Bolt Box, and the AA Extension tubes comes with the outfit. The package deal is the best buy if you want the other items.

The AA extension tube is definetly worth getting, the slings appeared to be German, but the clips on each end of the strap does NOT appear to be original German. The Straps may be post war Yugo, I just can't be positive. The Bolt Box is definetly WWII German, as it had a Waffenamt stamp under the paint.

I have a Lafette, but I can say with all honesty, the MG3 is FAR superior to the original for shooting. I use my Lafette for show, and the MG3 for shooting.

A lot of their stuff is post war yugo, but if you read their add “WW2 style" is implying it’s not German.
The items that are German are labeled "WW2 German"

I guess the 8mm/308 belt loaders go for a premium - $395. I just bought a 308 loader not too long a go for something like $90.

Let me be stupid and ask, why a barrel carrier? I mean outside of authenticity why have one? I'm sure it's nice to have a place to store your extra barrels (hopefully you have a lot of them) but they seem kind of pricey at $50 and $75.

I collect (like most of us here) the accessories, also for authenticity and as an added bonus to store my spare barrels :P . At $50-$70 dollars that’s like a 1/4 of the price I paid have paid for some of them I have.

That is a great price for the tripod, I have had good dealings with AA, received a 1910 maxim barrel that turned out to be new in the wrapper with chrome bore (SA) issue- a very nice surprise!
