No, I took some pictures of it in use yesterday but I forgot to bring in the camera today. I will post some pictures tomorrow.

Its for holding the boltasembly in place om a mg42 bolt when stored in the tool pouch.

Early designed bolts would fall apart in the belt pouch. This clip was made to hold the bolt head and bolt housing together while in the pouch. Later designed bolts didn't need the clip, so it was discontinued.

It is therefore a rare, and for practical purposes, a useless piece, other than to collect. I have one or two (I forget which) myself, along with a few other little trinkets.

I do have a few large and small parts boxes to sell, and one of the ruptured case extractors.

Here's a couple pictures of it in use, along with a couple other MG34 items that I found.
