I do;make presently 3D-model MG34. This not complete variant.
I have a question to You. Anyone have a photography a location this mags (drum) on MG34? I heard that this was used on MG34, but never saw these photographies.
I in the same way have a question - where possible see detailed photographies for lafet Mg34?

That's a picture of one of my MG34 Lafette tripods and the cradle assembly is a conversion unit to convert the tripod into a MG42 Lafette. You did a nice job on the CAD drawing of a MG34! You guys in Russia should have plenty of references of captured German war material.Two of my tripods from Inter-Ordnance were Russian captured surplus, and a MP44 I used to own came from Russia via I.M.A. years ago.England is the holding spot for a lot of German stuff coming over to the U.S.
There's a fellow in Paderborn, Germany who also makes 3-D models. I have been supplying him with close up pictures parts. Every now and again he writes me with a question or two. I'll direct him to come here to the board next time he writes. He'll like talking with the rest of you who make 3-D models. I was a member and co-founder of the Minnesota Lightwave Users Group many years ago and we used to do all kinds of animation projects. One of us went on to create Veggie Tales. My ex-roommate is still inthe animation industry. I still do modeling on the side for fun. Keep up the good work!

Wow! Your moving parts diagrams are awesome! How did you learn how to make those CAD drawings and on top of that,make the parts move? Did you learn that in an art college or are you self-taught?
