Hi,
I was asked to find out the cost of shipping a 34 transit box to the USA. This has taken some time to arrange for one reason or another. Anyway I now have the cost etc to hand and would ask if the interested party is still interested then please get in touch. I guess this is the wrong place for me to place this message but thought it may get seen if next to the original topic posting. Please contact me at damienhorn@jerseymail.co.uk

So what does it cost to ship a 34 transit case from Channel Islands to the USA?

I'm going to guess around $100 by economy.

Regards,
Orin

The cost is £75 sterling, and ak47dennis does have first shout at it subject to pictures of the box itself.

Oh, he means our no-longer-gold-backed, hyper-inflated, issued-by-a-private-company, 2/3-debt-owned-by-Red-China, Federal Reserve promissary notes? (As in we promise we'll send in the troops to overthrow anyone who dares to trade oil in any other currency) ;)

Oh well; at least its not the Euro!

But if you want to see the current exhange rates, try http://www.xe.com/ucc/

As of this morning (10/24/2006) the current exchange shown is 75 GBP = 140.228 USD.

The wait is finally over, my 34 transit chest from Damien arrived the other day well packed & safe-n-sound. I so very glad to finally have one it will come in handy to lug the gun and accessories around and goes nice with my ZB26 chest.

Damien thank you very much

Yea some measurements of the inside pieces of your box would be great.
