HI,
IT'S ME AGAIN, I HAVE JUST FOUND THESE PICTURES OF A BUNKER MOUNT FOR THE MG.34. I ACTUALLY REMOVED THIS ONE FROM THE GERMAN TUNNELS MYSELF WHEN I WAS 17 OR 18 (I DID NOT STEAL IT, IT WAS WITH PERMISSION) I TOOK THE DAY OFF WORK AND DROVE A VW COMBI INTO THE TUNNEL AND FILLED THE VAN UP A FEW TIMES AND TOOK MY SPOILS HOME WITH ME. THIS WAS ONE OF THE ITEMS WHICH TODAY ARE NOT TOO COMMON. I ALSO HAVE A COUPLE OF VARIENTS OF THIS ONE. ONE OF WHICH HAS SHIELDS ATTACHED TO IT. NONE OF THESE TYPE OF MOUNTS FEATURE IN FOLKE'S BOOK. IS THAT BECAUSE THEY ARE HARD TO FIND OR WERE THEY PERCULIAR TO MY PART OF THE WORLD. I WILL ENDEVOUR TO POST PICTURES OF THE OTHER TWO SHORTLY. I HOPE MY PICTURES ARE OF INTEREST TO YOU ALL AND DO NOT BORE YOU.
THANKS,
DAMIEN.
