Well the MG34 had a single shot switch. Could be used that way I guess. Something to think about.

The picture would have been more realistic with an ammo belt laid in, but I like it.

A really great photo. Too bad we can't see all of the details just out of the camera range. Where? When?
That said, you really have to take "eye relief" into account. I have this dent in my forehead.....Phil

Very interesting photo! Probably just a test somewhere to see how it did.
I bet they would have had more luck with it if they used a machined top cover instead of one of the stamped ones. Although you can modify the rear lock even on a stamped cover to lock tight.
