Kind words..

Post by junglewalk »

Colorado 1919, I hate strife in conversation too,........ and to Damien, you are very kind to respond so, after the way I said what I did. :WTF: .......
I am a concrete fortification lover, who spent 11 years in Germany, with the US Army, who would whenever possible, would rush into the Rhineland looking for the West Wall, and acrossthe border, the Maginot Line; On longer weekends/holidays, would go to the Atlantic Wall. Being so fascinated and enthrawled with the armaments emplaced in pillboxes and casemates, once found, would always lead to endless more questions.
Damien, you are so lucky to be living on those islands, and to be surrounded by such structures, you must be out, whenever you can, exploring and wondering about it all.
If I had a MG mount like that, I would have to have a pillbox built around it on my own private property, and have it placed on my private range so you could actually fire down range safely,(regardless of the wifes rants and objections) un-imaginable! :-P

Ed S, yes, you are right, such as those M3 Grease guns. Remember the 1911s a few years ago ?.. :l++ .......I read that the House is getting signatures to have an Amnesty Bill put together. This will only be for WWII and Korean war era MGs. I hope it happens :!: Thanks guys,...bob h (jw)

Beautiful women are like well built machineguns: Some should just be looked at, and left alone, while others were built to get hot.

WHAT????????????
There has been a bill introduced before that would allow veterans and the family members of veterans to amnesty regsister certain NFA weapons. It has been introduced and died at least once and I think this time it has more sponsers, like 60 or so. The bill is HR2088 for those inclined to look it up.

Never mind: here is a link to some info on this: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h109-2088

LOL! I think grandpa will be finding all sorts of things that need to be rewelded that he "brought back"

Seriousley though I doubt they would allow vets to register such weapons though? Maybe? I wonder if they would require submission of the weapon for inspection????? :?:

Origin of species....

I believe, unlike the 1968 Amnesty, the new one will require an affidavit when the form is submitted, stating, such as, "grandpa brought it back in his duffle bag, and it has been in the family ever since. Grandpa passed away last year, and grand-ma wants me, the grandson, to posses it." ..something like that. :-P :-P :-P ....who knows, it might happen.........bob h(jw)
