Mg34 Leaf Spring

Hello, Does anyone know where I can get a leaf spring, it's the one you press in so you can release the bipod (front one) Any help in finding one, and the two rivets would be fantastic. Jonathan.

On an old shroud..How did they crimp the rivets? How would you remove them successfully?...Phil

Honest answer, I don't know yet, but thanks to forum member Matt, and Ryan at RES Manufacturing I have the part, just need to fit it. It is going on a 4 hole barrel jacket so it should be a little easier to get at the rivets. Hope it goes well. Jonathan.

While the rivet set should be a pain in the a&& you should be able to get it done.

Once you remove the old rivets, you could probably thread the holes for screws like the rear leaf spring. Who would notice? Are the F&R leaf springs identical? Best of luck...Phil

can you get to the rivets through a cooling hole on the opposite side? the one I replaced on my tnw was the rear and it was attached with screws. they springs seem to be identical - matt
