Those photos are sexy, in a mechanical non-female sense of course... How do they (metal tips) attach to the buttstock, are they pinned and riveted, or screwed in? Can they be retrofitted (the metal tips) onto a standard bakelite stock? I guess I need to go back and look at my one bakelite buttstock.... thanks, Chris....

I'll see if I can get some close ups this weekend I suspect its somewhat molded into place - there are some pins(?) through the metal. Not about to dissassemble it.

the bakelite stocks with the metal tips are molded different than the stocks without them. you can not add the metal tips to a non metal tip buttstock. they are held on by screws and nuts. - matt
