Any Interest in Nato Feed Tray Adapter Plates?

Flo-Jet cut, with the cartridge way milled, edges chamfered, for welding into your tray or drill/countersink from bottom of feed tray?
I "need" one as well as a Kamerad in our Kampfgruppe. The local metal shop has been really cool about Flo Jetting parts for our various projects. So, I figured I'd have a few extras made.

I won't know how much until I actually take the digital drawing to the metal cutter for time estimate.

I would be interested if the price is right.

Here's what I'm thinking:
Flo-Jet from 0.5" 1018, cartridge channel milled, edges chamfered, all this per Rich's drawing. Hot blued with 4 holes pre-drilled/threaded for 8-32 machine screws. You just clamp it in place, spot the drill holes thru the top of the adapter plate, drill thru your extra feed tray, then countersink the holes underneath.
Or you can have it welded in place which will fornicate vertical the finish on the adapter plate and your feed tray.
Whaddaya think?

Either system would be great. Personally I think I would be better at the screws since I don not have the equipment for welding the two together.

I'm still waiting on the machine readable drawing, btw.

Any further news on this project?
I have an original Norwegian modified NATO caliber tray modification example.

The Norwegian mods are the best technical alteration to '34 tray and feed flawlessly. If you would like, I can make available this tray for your project, the mods can also be made to be non-permanent.
PM me to discuss if interested. I am just up the road from you.

That's a nice piece of gear, simpler than the one I wanted to do. I wanted to incorporate a tapered feed ramp into the top of the adapter to help feed the shorter 7.62x51 into the chamber.
Still waiting on the .txt or whatever the format is for the flo-jet machine.

TactAdv,
Can you mic the Portuguesse tray and see if the feed angles are different. I have modified a feedtray and I am not sure that the only action needed to get my 34 running on .308 is moving the feed of the cartridge to the rear of the feed tray. (actually I have had better luck moving the cartridges about midway. I am pretty sure that every other foriegn government that tried to convert the MG34 to .308 had the same problem(s).
Mainly angle of feed.
My 2 cents

Look closely at the picture of the Norwegian feed tray above. Does anyone see anything strange about it? Look again....Notice the front of the tray. It was originally modified to feed 30-06 and the MG34 receiver was hogged out to fit the tray. The tray pictured will not fit onto a standard MG34.
I have an Ohio Ordnance Works .308 conversion setup and they cut and rewelded the feed try to feed .308. Just after I got the conversion setup all the Romanian 8mm became available so I never used it.
