I am getting a TNW MG34 and I also have a WWII jeep that I take to a lot of shows. I wanted to know if I could get a fake receiver and just switch the real parts from one to the other just for shows. How hard to it to take the parts off of the receiver? Where can I get a cheep fake receiver?

unfortunately whan it comes to guns nothing is cheap!! you should be able to get a dummy rec and do just that. switching parts is not that big of a job.

Make one out of some cheap scrap sheet metal! I made a dummy receiver from an old metal computer tower for my MG42. It might actually have been classified as a machine gun by the ATF, because I could have installed all of the gun parts (bolt, rails, grip) to it, but of course chose not to. Very easy, just tack weld three sides of metal togather, bend the top "walls" of the receiver so that the feed tray and cover close, and you are Ok! I could post picks, give me some time though. I you want, you can blue the "receiver", etc.
