TNW call today!

Post by ChevyM14 »

I order my SA MG-34 in february! and evey time I call them they would say 2 or 3 weeks and they have been saying that for 8 mounts so about 3 weeks ago I spent all my MG-34 money on a WWII jeep  . so I am going to have a gunstore put it on layaway for about 4 to 6 months. I do not regrat buying the jeep because I cant drive a mg34 to work, so I will just have to play with my jeep utill I come up with the $3500 I to get my mg from the gun store.

Would it have been easier/quicker for them to build if you had supplied the parts kit? Or did you already?

I did not give them a parts kit, but I think it takes them the same time. I did not buld it bacause I live in new york and I wanted to make it as ligle as I could because alot of people are going to see it, also I don't know if I have the tools or skill to buld a 34.

Took them 5 months to build my kit. The results were worth the wait... Total cost with kit was ~$2800...

When did you have them do the work? Judging from the previous entries on this thread it sounds like there has been a price increase.
I am curious because I called TNW a month or so back regarding a UPS claim on a damaged semi-auto MG34 and was quoted $3900 for a "new" build.

I ordered my receiver last August, got it in December. It was around $1800.00 with the semi build kit. Sent it back to TNW with the kit, barrel shroud, receiver pieces, and gripstick in January to have them build it and finally received it back in May 2006.

Has anyone received a semi receiver from TNW? Is it very difficult to convert a parts kit MG34 into a functioning SA?
