I hate impulse buying but to get it with a matching reciever and barrel shroud will be nice.
Will be interesting to see how it is cut.

Well smoogle, looks as though you are the owner of a fine MG34 kit. Please let us know what the reciever looks like. Mike

Smoggle,
Very nice. Get me a diameter at the bipod and AA sight mount points and I'll see if I can work up some detachable collars for them.

A guy in our reenactment group is building a PzKwIIIA from an M113 chassis and drive train. I thought of building the ground kit for his bow MG. Seems like there are a couple hundred 34 Panzermantel guns out there but only a handful of ground kits.

Boy is that jacket heavy. Got it last night. Old kit, saw cut reciever. About blew a nut when I saw that. Missing one grip panel and the special conversion pieces in the box. Damn happy I bought it now.

Does it have the small sheetmetal retaining clip that keeps the muzzle from backing off?

Lucky dog. Just ordered the rec. pieces from IMA to try to patch together a butchered torch cut I got from IO a couple years ago.
