Got my tnw 34 today
I've been on TNW's wait list for a while and finally recieved my semi MG-34 yesterday. They have done a excellent job during manufacture. Nice German parts clearly marked and refinished. Have to refinish the butt stock though, its painted black. Just wanted to give you a heads up if you are on their list, it may not be too much longer. The price went up another $300.

Great men are born in fire, it is the privilege of lessor men to light the flame, no matter the cost

So, what are they selling for these days? Around $3900 now?
ETA: Can you tell us the markings on the barrel jacket (ar, dot, s/243, etc)?
Have you put it together yet? The bolt can be a little tricky sometimes.
When you take it out shooting, it may not feed the initial round into the breech. Since it operates from a closed bolt, the TNW guns operate much better if you first load a round into the chamber, close the bolt, then insert the belt.
The trigger pull may also be pretty stiff, so you may have to use the "two finger pull." It will loosen up with time/rounds.
Also, here is some good info on cleaning up after using corrosive ammo:

Good Luck!

Ed S: The marking on the barrel jacked is dtb 42. That is the only marking I could find. Yeah, the price went up to $3995. I had been saving for a while in order to get this one. Thanks for all the pointers and the web link with the corrosive ammo, will keep it in mind. I will post pic's as soon as I can get a camera.
