The heads of the two screws that hold the ejector plate to the receiver broke off last month in my 34. I was able to extract the broke screws without damaging the threaded holes in the receiver.
However, now when I fire the gun the replacement screws loosen up after a few shots causing ejection failures. Should I put some loc-tite on these or what?

I would give the Loc-Tite a try first. The BLUE should hold the screws in place, but still allow them to be unscrewed if needed. The RED will hold them tight under most all situations, and will require somer heat to break them loose. IF they do not need to be removed very often, use the RED Loc-Tite.

I will try the blue loctite first since I know where I can find some. I am not sure where to buy the red kind.

I would stake them just like they originally were don’t think the loctite will do the job. I read that once the screws came lose the were to be replaced and re-staked.

All of the types of Loc-tite are available at a good car parts store. Considering that they didn't loc-tite them to start with, just staked them, I think I'd stick with that so that they could be removed as you did this time (after the heads broke off). A proper stake should do all you need.
