Kl Vorratskasten fur MG Lafette 34

Just been watching this on ebay but didn't put in a bid for it. Does the 34 look odd to members ie brighter and less dirty than the rest of the stencil? Might be just my eyes but what do you think. I also cannot find any reference in the manual to the text as stated on the box, my manual gives Kl Vorrat M G Laf 34 but I suppose its possible to differ from the manual. Views? Thanks Tim

Have just photographed various 4's. The Germans used Fraktur and I think the National Socialist version of it being the Propoganda font which differs from classic Fraktur. Each 4 below has a distinct slant at the base of the letter and the one on the 34 box looks rounded to me. Anyway just posted to see people's views. Tim

It could it be that it was originally just marked lafette (Laf.), when the lafette 34 was the only one that was made, and was later re-marked for the lafette 34 when the lafette for the MG42 came out.
