SA bolt disassembly

Ok...I've taken my SA MG-34 bolt apart but have no clue how to put it back properly. I could fiddle with it for a few minutes and get something decent...but I don't want to risk it.

Could anyone be kind enough to post a few photos on how I should properly put the bolt back together?

Thank you in advance.

Frank

Even a detailed written instruction would be appreciated....I don't want to snap my firing pin...

Thanks!

Actually I hate to add more to this large request, but can anyone provide instructions how to properly disassemble and reassemble the MG-34 Semi-auto bolt?

I'd rather do it right than keep messing with it.

I dont know if this will help but try You Tube. I think I have seen a video or two there on the bolt.

Absolutely no youtube videos covering the subject.

I cleaned it, put it back together (to the best of my ability) and now it seems a "tad" more difficult to charge the gun. I'm just wondering if I had to compress anything when screwing on the end cap.

Nope All I could find was just a video on MG34 breakdown to major components. Nothing further. I could have sworn I had seen one somewhere.

It's very difficult to disassemble because of the stiff firing pin spring. The snap ring is tough to remove. If you don't absolutely need to take it apart, like just to clean it up, might be best to spray it with solvent and blow it out. I've never taken mine apart.....If you really need yours apart, unscrew the nut, then use a vice or long clamp and spacers to compress the sear bushing to remove the snap ring. As for why it's more stiff now, perhaps needs to be re-lubed? Let us know if you need photos. Be careful...good luck....Phil
