I would like to thank those on the forum that have answered my questions in the past. They were very helpful and i appreciate it. I have noticed some different versions of the same parts and I am curious as to whether these are equivalent functionally or if they will be a problem to use.

feed tray - one has an extra angle riveted to it (on the feed tray on the left)? Is this a necessary improvement to functioning?

Also, here are two joint levers, the one on the left has no extension that looks like a finger trip pad. What does this mean to functioning?

Finally, Could someone just identify this piece to me? Is this piece available from BRP or elsewhere? I didn't get one of these in my kit from the recent MG34 group buy.

I know that these are basic questions and I promise to get a decent manual soon to avoid bothering everyone over basics.

Your first picture is a right side piece of the receiver containing the ejector palate. Yes you can get them from BRP.

Second picture of your joint lever can you post picture of the other side?

Third pic. is of 2 different feed trays (of course) one early and one later that blocks is a cartridge stop its also missing the belt hook.

It sounds like both of the feed trays have a problem with not having a belt hook.

Is the lack of a certridge stop a significant issue with the functionality?

The joint lever on the left looks the same on both sides - flat with no protrusion. The one on the right has the protrusion and a pad on the end of the basic lever. This appears to be the only difference. I don't have a reverse side picture handy, but here are some slightly different views to give the view depth and to show that the left side pjoint lever is lying flat on a countertop.

Do you understand the purpose of the additional protrusion and the impact to function if it is not there? The second part was machined wothout it, so I am assuming it is a product simplification (I hope).
