BRP XMG34

Post by untenbeschuss »

Hello-
I did a search of the forum for this question, if I missed the answer, please someone direct me to the thread.
Question, regarding the BRP XMG34, I read it uses a hammer fired AR lower, I also read that there is some question of the BATFE ruling on it being a post 1986 MG. Having gone to the BRP site, I don't see them selling them anymore, only firearms for sale are MG42 receivers.
So, is the XMG 34 legal to own?

thanks for taking time to read this.

Best thing that you could ever do is to call Brian himself at brp.

Last I heard everything was ok as long as you used a semi auto lower unless you had a class7 sot or something like that. That said talk to Brian. Good Guy Straight Shooter.

Well 42, somebody is $1500 richer 'cause he sold his 1919 kit! Come'on, go for it! Look at the lower receiver...didn't Brian use a regular AR15 lower receiver on the XMG? This one looks better on the gun. Is this L/R something special?...Very unique...Phil

Someone also has bills to pay. This ar-15 lower looks like it has been redone as much as possible to look good with Brian's upper piece. Looks like the price is starting to head up towards where it should go. brp part $1,700 and part of a mg34 kit $1,000 and neat lower $150 is $2,850. So where will this end up over $3,000?? Lets see..
