I am pretty versed in the '42, and know it quite well.
Today I felt brave and took delivery of my TNW based semi '34.
It is on a 1944 DOT front end and coq backend.
It has tried to sever my finger, screwing that barrel on and off - appears it takes a certain technique, lol.
The youtube clip I used as a reference didn't have the spring plunger that holds the barrel in place after assembly, tricky little piece that, too.
The firing pin seems not engage every time if I move the bolt forward by hand, if I release it and let it slam forwards/closed, it engages the firing pin every time.
is this normal?
What is the best ammo to start this thing out on.
I am selling my old '34 dummy now, too much heavy metal.
Pit.
New to the semi '34 club.
