This bipod came on my MG34 kit what is it?

This bipod came on my MG34 kit what is it?

It looks like a FND BAR bipod or maybe Galil anybody know?

There are no markings I have been able to find, it will not lock up attached to the front but it will from the rear or cam end with those locking parts turned inward.

I think it is post war Israeli or Czech

So it would be found on a MG34? Did they just leave it hanging I don't how they would clip it to the barrel for transporting.

There is a spring that attaches to the two rings on the legs and holds them to the barrel jacket when in the folded position. Needless to say, the spring gizmo is almost always lost.

Those were provided post war by the Czechs, either ZB26 or ZB30. I usually observe them on Israeli mg34's.
