I'm looking to trade my 1945 Dated DOT, semi auto MG-34 chambered in .308 for a semi-auto PM 1910 Maxim. Can anyone help me out?

What part of the USA are you located in; what is the condition of the MG34, who made it and what comes with it? If it is an Israeli marked gun, I do not have any interest but if not then I have interest. I have three Israeli marked semi-auto's right now. I have a complete, like new M1910 Maxim with the wheeled mount and shield plus some ammo cans with belts and ammo. The gun was build by Midwest Metals for me several years ago. It is too heavy to be shipping as it weights well over 100 lbs with everything. I also have the original shipping box for the wheeled mount and shield. Contact me off line for photographs, at

I'm in Oak Brook IL, Condition is practically brand new rebuilt, It was built by project guns. Comes with 2 drums, 3 ammo cans, Blank adapter w/screws, original 8mm feed tray and .308 feed tray (norwegian), extra belts and a repro gunners pouch. Unfortunately I can't tell for certain, but I think it was originally an israeli capture. I'll find a picture of the receiver for you to make that call. I've inspected the body and found no israeli markings but the receiver has a symbol I've never seen before.
I'll get a pic up before tomorrow.

I will also include an original M42 Restored Helmet size 66/59 liner. Original shell, czech repro liner. So you can have one hell of a display.

Thanks for the photographs, I just answered and sent you some photographs. I purchased a warehouse full of German WWII equipment in an auction in Denmark back in the 70's. I had over 1,400 German helmets that I sold, mostly wholesale, to dealers in the early 80's. Still have a few to display with the 1941 Mercedes four-door convertible and the 1943 VW type 82 Kuebelwagen. Harry
