Re: Looking for an original MG AA tripod with a MG34 cradle
Last one of those I saw for sale was years ago... Even a reproduction top mount is expensive. An original tripod isn't too tough to find, but not cheap anymore either. The mounts are easy to change on the tripod, so even if you find just the mount, grab it.

Re: Looking for an original MG AA tripod with a MG34 cradle
......I just saw your note here, looking for a original MG-34 anti-aircraft mount, complete with cradle on top.
............
......I have had this MG-34 AA mount for nearly 20 years, and used it once on Knob Creek range.
...........
.......I am sure you know the tri-pod we are talking about, has it's three legs located really low on the center support pole...........The 'cradle', has the half ring for mounting the MG on top and has the hard rubber 'rest' place for when the MG sits in a horizontal way.
.......I'll send photo if you want,...My email is,>> BAR1918A3@TWC.COM....

Beautiful women are like well built machineguns: Some should just be looked at, and left alone, while others were built to get hot.

Look at the date on the message the guy left, Bob (11 months ago). I can only guess, but if he hasn't answered by now, he probably doesn't want it.
I'd suggest gunbroker, with close up pictures of the waffenamts to prove it's authenticity.
