What are you willing to pay for VGC or restored pitted examples?

Thank you for responding, I would be interested in a VGC feed tray and curious as to a "restored condition" tray. I'm very happy to pay a fair price and frankly not interested in trying to get something for nothing. I on the other hand had thought I could find something around $250.00 but I might be really off, should you be interested in parting with anything do let me know and if you have a price in mind. At the end of the day, I need a feed tray.

If you are patient you can prolly get one off eBay for $250 plus shipping. I’d need closer to $400 for one of my spares. I have some that were or are rust covered and pitted. Would be functional if cleaned up with belt sander. I can do $150 on one of those. Will make trades for stock cup or top cover or grip assembly.

If you have one at $350 let me know, the pitted examples I would have to see pictures of, they seem to go from almost melting to workable. I wouldn't mind cleaning one up and refinishing it if was workable. I just had a couple parts sent from Poland and I was able to very nicely make them acceptable with a very high quality sonic cleaner I have.

I found a source overseas for a feedtray and the price very acceptable indeed. My conversation build kit for 7.62x51 is now complete with all components. The PC certainly makes the world a smaller place.

Well I guess if you want something, get out there and find it. I've now purchased three Mg34 feed trays from foreign sellers in just a couple of weeks.
