Want Erma EMP or MP18 parts
Hey guys, this gun (the Erma EMP) is very rare, I doubt anyone in the world has the internals to sell to me, but a man has got to try. I need a barrel (Maybe an MP18 barrel will work, please post a pic) and a bolt, bolt carrier, bolt handle, spring. MP18 parts may work, I need pics. Thanks!

Hey Karbinator, I will get a pic up soon! I have a the complete gun, but everything is demilled or cut. The receiver tube is cut in the rear, the bolt handle welded to the slot, the bolt cut and half of it welded inside the receiver tube. The chamber is welded shut, and the barrel has 3 holes drilled in it. It must be some kind of old demill. It makes a fine display gun, but otherwise it is nothing.
I got it real cheap from a friend who had no idea what it was (I had a bitch of a time researching it) and I was told that it is worth only what an enthusiast is willing to pay for it, which is not much even for this rare weapon. So I figured I would convert it to semi, and should I ever decide to sell it, it would be worth alot more! Also, I will not destroy any of the original parts. I actually took it to a gun show, to see if anyone would help me out with it, and I generated alot of interest.

Sarco imported quite a few EMP parts from Spain a few years ago. They were the Spanish made version in 9mm Largo. They started as Euro-spec deacts.....then Sarco cut the tube under the mag housing, imported the parts sets, and built dummys out of them.....sold for 139.00 , then for 99.00. I believe they are still selling the Euro deact certificates that came with them .
I have owned a few of these, and gave up on finding any parts. There is no parts interchangability with any other weapon.....and not all German EMP parts will fit!
If yours is marked like this one, it a Sarco dummy gun. The only usable parts on these are the Mag hsg, and stock / trigger assy.
It is a shame.......they are such cool guns!

HEY! Thanks so much for the info! Three years ago I met a guy from Spain on a different forum who knew a guy who owned a demilled EMP, and yeah I have the same one you got! At least they are ATF approved demills. 99 bucks you say? That is why I'm going to try to reactivate mine; looks like I'll have to use custom parts. I thought going the semi Sten route could work. Yeah I know that parts are not interchangable, but look at what our boys here have done with the MG42's and Mg34's!
