MG42 parts
WTB- bnz mg42 parts
Poundfoolish,
As the WWII German contractors used many different manufacturers for the different sub-assemblies and parts for the MG42s......and assembled the guns at a differnt location.....could you give us a list of maked parts and "waffenampt numbers"/"codes" you are looking for so that we can look for you? Only the receiver/barrel/bolt may be the only parts marked BNZ....and the cam-pieces were made by different contractors (not serial-numbered to an MG42....just serial-numbered so that the halves would not be mis-matched during assembly).
I say this because if memory serves me right.......the only parts you may find are the receiver, maybe the correct waffenampt-number top-cover/trigger-group/barrel and bolt. ....but again, depending on when the gun was made, almost no parts will be numbered to the gun.
On a side note, my registered "CRA" MG42 only has the barrel, bolt, feed-tray, and cocking-handle-assembly serial-numbered to the gun.
Let us know what you are looking for and the markings/waffenampt-number/codes.
Thanks, RichardS.
