bnz parts

Post by Poundfoolish »

I bought a sweet 3 cut bnz '42 reciever just before Christmas. Now I need parts to finish it out before prices and avalability make it more pragmatic. I'd like to keep it more or less war vintage Styer parts if I can. Anybody got extra parts?

Hi

That wasn`t a good plan I think..

I sold 1 sighthood for the BNZ on ebay recently..it fetched $160

so I think that will be a expensive project. It`s much easyer to buy a complete BNZ rifle.

Best regards Tommy

I don't think Steyr made all of the small parts you are looking for. I bought a bnz set that came with a matching top cover made by cos. From what I have seen most of the components that were not s/n'd were made be either cos or bpr. Just my 2 cents. D

Anyone have a good WW2 topcover, I have a bpr that is tweaked a little, or can it be straightened?

Mine was bent as well. I put it in a press with some aluminum parralels and it straightened perfectly.

I don't think there is anything other than the barrel on these guns that isn't bent a little, they aren't like an MG 34. Lon
