Bill,
That is a nice lookin' bike setup........and I am only putting out the following information to help Board-Members....... :

If this is "Original" WWII German....then she would be worth it......"but" if this is a Post-War Russian-version as sold in some of the motorcycle-trader magazine/E-Bay-Motors, etc........then way overpriced. They still advetize the Post-War models w/side-cars for about half of that price without WWII Mods....and you could probably make a good deal w/those in this economy.

Tomcatshaas.......
....don't go out looking for an "original" KnuckleHead to put any miles on.......if you want to put "miles" on on your "bike"......get a reproduction hard-tail-frame (V-Twin), and put a new S&S KnuckleHead engine in it......I believe the ones that S&S is making now are 93" as apposed to when we use to take a 74" "Knuck" and put ULH Flywheels in them to stroke them out to 80"(+).
Yep.....if you want to talk "Bikes".....send me an e-mail.
Licensed "HD" Mechanic for the last 20 years........riding HDs since 1967........now just doing engine/transmission work now in spare time since retiring from the US Army.

Regards, RichardS in MI.

Are R75's a real pain to maintain if you drive them or what? I use my DKW NZ 350-1 for all kinds of riding, even commuting to work on occasion. Works just fine.

This is not 100% accurate. You've never used your DKW NZ 350-1 for jumps or stunt riding. I set up a whole row of school buses (just for you) and you REFUSED to even attempt to jump over them.

Plus, the Snake River Canyon STILL needs to be jumped.

Well, hey.. there are exceptions... I once swerved to avoid a grasshopper once. That's as daring as I wanna be on this old motorrad.
