Hello!
I have an MG 42 display receiver built by BRP Guns for sale. The receiver was a SA that was made into a display gun. Brian would not share with me the details why he decided to use a SA receiver for this build. I would consider a trade for the complete 42 display including the parts it is built with for an M 60 display gun if anyone was interested. Price for JUST the receiver would be $1100. Thanks for looking./Users/Alex/Desktop/Picture 1.png/Users/Alex/Desktop/Picture 4.png

Correct me if I'm wrong but this receiver has a massive block installed into it so as a bolt cannot be installed correct ?

Im not looking for opinions or right or wrong ways of dong things. if anyone knows about displays then they know that there would be some type of feature installed to prevent actual firing and as I stated it WAS a SA receiver built by BRP that now has the plate welded in to prevent any internals from being installed. The plate looks to be tig welded in place at the rivet holes on the side of the receiver. Either a dremel or small endmill cutter set up on a bridgeport would remove it.
