We just got in our new repro MP40 mags. They are sweet to look at, work like champs and are even marked!

So why are they marked for the MP-41, which was issued almost exclusively to the Romanian forces allied to Germany? Why not mark them MP38/40 ?

Cool. They look pretty good. I'm curious, why did you guys mark them MP41? Did someone come up with the original tooling somewhere?

Because that what we used for a sample and the stamper reproduced it right down to the markings.

Guys, regardless of how we marked them....they work in MP40s....just like a MP41 mag.

I have no problem with it. I have a few originals here and the markings are dead on, that's why I asked. They look really good and I thought maybe someone found some original dies somewhere.
